has caught 2 Albanians and one Italian citizen, while trying to smuggle 1 ton of marijuana worth 10 million Euros.

M.A 34, A.E 30, from Vlora city and one 65-years old Italian citizen got arrested.

The

Guardia di Finanza’s

operation took place on the shore of Santa Maria di Leuca, Italy, thanks to the cooperation with the Albanian police.

Since the beginning of this year, 9 speedboats with about 13 tons of marijuana has been blocked in the Puglia region and 28 smugglers have been arrested, most of them being Albanian citizens./tvklan.al
