Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi came out this Friday giving explanations on the delicate moment of talks between Kosovo and Serbia that, according to him, will continue in September.
Thaçi reiterated that they are 400 km of border with Serbia to be corrected and stressed that the state of Kosovo should not close its eyes in front of the historical demand of the Presevo valley, but also Medvedja and Bujanovac to join Kosovo.
Thaçi said that the main decision-making role will belong to the people by explaining that in the near future the voice and the will of citizens will be heard through a referendum, especially on key issues such as the final phase of dialogue and agreement with Serbia
The lack of a referendum mechanism has prevented us from delaying the establishment of the armed forces of Kosovo and consequently the stage for NATO membership./tvklan.al
