The Special College of Appeals will decide on Monday whether the Vetting process on former Chief Prosecutor Adriatik Llalla should be cut. The Public Commissioner, who appealed the decision of the Independent Qualification Committee, argued that Llalla’s resignation was not made legally.

Llalla’s lawyer, Sokol Hazizaj, requested to leave the IQC’s decision into effect.

After his mandate was over, Adriatik Llalla quit his right to be appointed as judge. IQC decided to approve this request. The prosecution afterwards launched an investigation into the former Chief prosecutor for abuse of office, money laundering and asset concealment./tvklan.al
