Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted from the Assembly over the heavy flooding situation that is causing massive rainfalls all over the country.

Rama said that this is an anticipated situation and that the government has taken all possible measures.

“As we have warned a few days ago, these floods are foreseen, and given that we have been able to predict, we have taken every possible measure in all respects to cope with this difficulty. Now that we speak all the organized emergency forces, the army, the police, the prefects and all the local government structures are indiscriminately engaged. Also in terms of health service, it is in full readiness”.

 

The massive rainfalls have created an alarming situation almost all over the country.  Meanwhile the Ministry of Education announces that it has decided to suspend the teaching process in all pre-university education institutions after receiving information from the Regional Education Directorates on the situation of the heavy rainfall./tvklan.al
