Following the agreement on Macedonia’s name, Greece now aims to solve the issues with Albania as well. Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Kotzias, has commented on the agreements that are expected to be signed with the Albanian side.
Speaking from Moscow, Kotzias mentioned the maritime agreement. He said the issues between Albania and Greece need to be solved before he starts the summer vacations.
“We are in a process of resolving the issues that have been pending with Albania from 30-80 recent years. Before I go on vacations I will have to solve these problems, otherwise there will be no vacations for me. Now that we are leaving behind the economic crisis, we believe that the stability in Balkans can help us to develop together”
, Greek Foreign Minister said.
Yesterday, Greece and Macedonia resolved the name issue, a problem between the two countries for the past 27 years. Upon reaching this agreement, Macedonia will be called “the Republic of Northern Macedonia”./tvklan.al
