One day after Democratic Party Chairman Lulzim Basha declared the civilian disobedience, Prime Minister Edi Rama said the opposition “wants to set fire and chaos to escape the justice”.
In a Facebook post, Rama said:
“When the opposition was in power, the Nation’s Road toll fee was predicted EUR 8-9! They failed! Now they are setting fire and are using Kukes as gasoline to burn the European path of Albania”.
Monday afternoon, Lulzim Basha appealed to all citizens not to pay the government’s increased taxes.
The Democratic Party leader accused Prime Minister Edi Rama for sending the country to the “verge of economic and social abyss”./tvklan.al
